Mexican Nationals Kite Competition

La Ventana was a pit stop for the Mexican Nationals this year. The competition was a freestyle event then a race from the hot springs to Playa Central. Lots of people showed up to support this event so it will bring the event back next year with a good turn out. The military was here with a show, then Tecate and Rockstar stayed for the whole event. Great food and people. hope it happens again next year.

The Mexican Military showed up for Security purposes, It was nice to have the Mexican Culture surrounded by us.

It was a serious event for the Mexican's. They sure do honor that flag

Cynthia Brown got 1st in Women's race. Go team Ozone!!

Shannon took 1st place for the women's freestyle

Thanks to Wainman Hawaii for paying my entry fee.

The old Shrimp Factory next to the camp grounds had a face lift this summer, Check it out killer Pizza and a cool baja night scene.

The Mexican Nationals went great, Jessica from Playa Central did a awesome job putting the event together. I was impressed on how it all turned out. Not to much wind for the race but it still went on. All and all it was another fun time down here in La Ventana Mexico.
