The shores of Kihei are full of shallow reefs which can be dangerous with the strong and gusty winds. This sail boat has been stuck 1/4 mile offshore in less than a few feet of water just offshore of the Pacific Whale Foundation in Kihei. Makes for a good picture, not so good for the environment. Hopefully the owners move it soon.
